Tour day-by-day
We will meet you at Almaty airport and head to the Turgen Gorge. Along the way we will visit the Issyk burial mounds, where the famous “Golden Man” was found. In the Turgen Gorge we will visit the Bear Waterfall, and after that we will head to glamping, which is located on the banks of the Turgen River. Depending on the time of your arrival, it is possible to conduct a small city tour of Almaty.
On the second day, our path lies through the Asy high plateau and alpine meadows. There you will see the Asy-Turgen astrophysical observatory. At the end of the Asy plateau we will find ourselves in the Red Rocks tract. In the second part of the day we will visit the Bartogay reservoir. Our second home will be a recreation center near the hot springs.
On the third day, you will have until noon to enjoy the hot springs. Afterwards our path lies through the beautiful Ketmen mountain pass (3050m). Towards evening we will reach Lake Tuzkol and set up a tent camp there. Lake Tuzkol is famous for its view, which opens early in the morning in clear weather. From the lake you can capture the highest peaks of the Kazakhstan Tien Shan: Khan Tengri Peak (7010m), Pobeda Peak (7349m) and others
On the fourth day you will visit the high mountain valley of Tekes (2200m above sea level). This valley never leaves anyone indifferent, so the journey through Kazakhstan comes to an end at the Tekes Valley. Afterwards we will cross the border between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and by evening we will find ourselves in the city of Karakol. There we will stay at a local hotel.
On the fifth day, we will head to the Jety-Oguz valley, where we will see the famous “Broken Heart” and “Seven Bulls” rocks, the Jety-Oguz cave, as well as the “Maiden’s Tears” waterfall. In the second part of the day you will visit the Barskoon gorge, which is famous for its three waterfalls: “Splash of Champagne”, “Aksakal’s Beard” and “Tears of a Snow Leopard”. And in the evening we will find ourselves on the beach of Lake Issyk-Kul, where we will spend the night in a guest house.
On the sixth day you will have until noon to swim and sunbathe. Afterwards we will go to the Tamga gorge, where there are stones with ancient Buddhist engravings. Afterwards you will visit the Skazka canyon with its Martian landscapes. And at the end of the day we will arrive in the village of Bokonbaeva, where we will stay at a local guest house. There the hostess will give you a master class on making traditional felt carpets.
On the seventh day you will visit the famous “Chan-Tuz” salt caves, and after that we head to the high-mountain lake Son Kul. Along the way we will overcome the “33 Parrots” pass with a waterfall at its top. At Son Kul Lake we will spend the night in a heated yurt camp and spend our last night in Kyrgyzstan under the starry sky.
On the last day of our trip we are heading to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - the city of Bishkek. Along the way we will visit the Burana Tower, which is an important historical and architectural monument of Central Asia. By evening we will deliver you to the airport in Bishkek - Manas.
