This is a two-day tour of the Altyn-Emel National Park, which is a UNESCO biosphere reserve and home to a large number of rare and endangered animals.

The visiting card of the park is the Singing Dune. In dry weather, the huge sand dune emits a melody that some compare to the drone of a jet plane, and others to the sound of an organ.

The heart of the park is the chalk mountains of Aktau, which are the bottom of the ancient Tethys Ocean. For this reason, the structure of the mountains resembles a layered cake interspersed with red, green and white colors. Paleontologists find fossils of huge crocodiles, dinosaurs and other representatives of prehistoric fauna in the mountains.

Not far from the Aktau Mountains are the volcanic Katutau Mountains, which were formed by the eruptions of many volcanoes at the bottom of the Tethys Ocean. At the moment they are a place of attraction for tourists, as the eruptions have formed many bizarre figures.

A bonus to the program is a visit to the Tamgaly-Tas tract, which is located near the bed of the deepest Ili River. The tract is famous for its engravings in the Buddhist style, which were painted on the rocks during the Silk Road.
