On the tour we will visit three national parks, which are UNESCO biosphere reserves. All the footage of snow leopards in Kazakhstan that you will find on the Internet was taken there. So, seeing the symbol of Kazakhstan - the Red Book snow leopard - on our tour is a very real possibility. Also, on almost every tour we meet wild horses - kulans, Przewalski's horse, as well as argali.
In 5 days you will visit all climatic zones of Kazakhstan - from harsh deserts to mountain lakes, next to which you can feel the breath of glaciers. You will admire the beauty of Charyn - one of the most impressive canyons in the world, you will contemplate the crystal clear Kolsai lakes - pearls located in the highlands of the Tien Shan Mountains. Explore the diversity of deserts in the Altyn-Emel National Park and swim in hot springs, the water of which has a healing effect.

Tour day-by-day
The car will be delivered to your hotel on the morning of the first day. Departure from the city is accompanied by a short excursion through the history and modernity of the city of Almaty and Kazakhstan as a whole. On the way you will see the Kapchagai reservoir, as well as the casino city of Kunaev.
The first location will be the Tamgaly-Tas tract, where there is a short walk with inspection of rock paintings. Lunch is provided at the same location. Afterwards we will drive through the Altyn-Emel pass, which, according to legend, was given its name by Genghis Khan himself. In the afternoon we will visit the Singing Dune and climb to its top.
Overnight in a cozy guest house at the “comfort +” tariff, in a hotel at the “lux” tariff and in a tent camp at the “scout” tariff.

On the morning of the second day, we have breakfast and head to the heart of the Altyn-Emel Park - the chalk mountains of Aktau. The site offers easy hiking to the top of the mountain, which offers the best views for photographs.
Afterwards we move to the volcanic mountains of Katutau, where we will look at the bizarre figures from volcanic lava that solidified millions of years ago. Next we will go to a natural monument - a 700-year-old willow in the Kosbastau ranger cordon, which is sacred to local residents.
Overnight accommodation is provided in the same place as the previous night.
Afterwards we move to the volcanic mountains of Katutau, where we will look at the bizarre figures from volcanic lava that solidified millions of years ago. Next we will go to a natural monument - a 700-year-old willow in the Kosbastau ranger cordon, which is sacred to local residents.
Overnight accommodation is provided in the same place as the previous night.

On the third day we will complete our acquaintance with the Altyn Emel National Park by going to the Tiger Mountains. They received this name due to the characteristic color of the clays from which they are composed.
Afterwards we will go to hot springs, the water of which has healing properties. Overnight at a recreation center near the hot springs.

On day 4 you will find yourself in the area of alpine meadows, where you will begin to get acquainted with the Kolsai Lakes National Park. And along the way, we will visit the panoramic point of the Charyn Canyon, which is called “Black Rocks”. The first location will be Lake Kaindy
The name Kaindy is translated from Kazakh as “birch,” which we will see when we stop at the largest birch grove in the entire Northern Tien Shan. At the end of the path, a lake awaits us, which has no analogue anywhere in the world. The trunks of the fir trees, half under water after the devastating earthquake of the early twentieth century, remained standing as eternal guards of the lake.
The name Kaindy is translated from Kazakh as “birch,” which we will see when we stop at the largest birch grove in the entire Northern Tien Shan. At the end of the path, a lake awaits us, which has no analogue anywhere in the world. On day 5, the pearl of the entire Tien Shan awaits you - the Kolsai Lakes. If you wish, you can order a horseback ride around the lake, or a catamaran ride. Next we will have a road back to Almaty; on the way to the city we will again feel the natural contrast, visiting the younger brother of the Grand Canyon - the Valley of Castles of the Charyn Canyon.
The “Valley of Castles” canyon is a unique natural object, where, under the influence of nature for thousands of years, remnants have formed in the form of isolated mountains, pillars, towers and even dragons. This is a place where fantasies really have room to run wild. In the “Valley of Castles” you have the opportunity to touch history in the truest sense of the word. We will walk to the Charyn River, where we will admire relict trees (ash, turanga), which are more than 5 million years old. Arrival time in the city is around 18:00, but the time is approximate. Everything will depend on your speed and wishes. We never rush anyone - enjoy the journey at your own pace.
The “Valley of Castles” canyon is a unique natural object, where, under the influence of nature for thousands of years, remnants have formed in the form of isolated mountains, pillars, towers and even dragons. This is a place where fantasies really have room to run wild. In the “Valley of Castles” you have the opportunity to touch history in the truest sense of the word. We will walk to the Charyn River, where we will admire relict trees (ash, turanga), which are more than 5 million years old. Arrival time in the city is around 18:00, but the time is approximate.
