Tour day-by-day
The first day will begin with an acquaintance with the capital of Kyrgyzstan - the city of Bishkek. There will be a city tour in which you will see the main attractions of the city. Next we leave Bishkek and move east. At the end of the day we will arrive to the shore of the Issyk-Kul mountain lake, where we will spend the night in a guest house.
On the second day we continue moving along the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Along the way, the resort town of Cholpon-Ata awaits us, where we will visit a park with ancient rock paintings. In the afternoon we will visit the Grigorievskoye and Semenovskoye gorge in the Tien Shan mountains, and also take a walk to the mountain lakes. At the end of the day, arrival in the city of Karakol, where we will spend the night at a hotel.
On the third day we move along the southern coast of Issyk-Kul, where there are no resort recreation centers, but a large number of natural attractions are concentrated. In the first half of the day we will visit the Jety-Oguz gorge, where we will visit the “Seven Bulls” rocks, the “Broken Heart” rocks and the “Maiden Tears” waterfall. In the afternoon we will visit the Barskoon gorge, which was the place where Soviet cosmonauts trained, and its 3 waterfalls - “Tears of the Snow Leopard”, “Splash of Champagne” and “Aksakal’s Beard”. At the end of the day, arrival at the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, master class on assembling a yurt and overnight in a hotel overlooking the lake.
On the fourth day we continue exploring the southern coast of Issyk-Kul. First of all, we will visit the Tamga Gorge, which is a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists from all over the world. In the wild gorge there are 3 stones on which prayer inscriptions were applied using a special engraving technique. In the afternoon we will visit the Skazka Canyon, where you can walk through the Martian landscapes. At the end of the day, arrival in the village of Bokonbaevo, where we will spend the night in a guest house. The hostess of the guest house will conduct a master class on making traditional felt carpets. The carpet that you make according to your individual design can be taken with you as a souvenir.
On the sixth day we enjoy the mountain sunrise with reflection in the crystal clear lake, and move towards Bishkek. Along the way we will visit the Chan Tuz salt caves, which were previously salt mines, and are currently used as a sanatorium. A half-hour stay in the cave with a guided tour has a good effect on the respiratory system. In the evening we will find ourselves at a recreation center with thermal springs not far from Bishkek, where we will spend the night.
On the last day of the trip you will have time to enjoy the thermal baths, and then we will go to Bishkek. In Bishkek we will visit the local bazaar, where you can buy local gifts and souvenirs to take home. Afterwards, transfer to the Bishkek airport or to the hotel you specified is possible.
On the fifth day we move to the pearl of the Kyrgyz mountains - the high-mountain lake Son-Kul. The road will go off-road, and along the way we will overcome the pass, which is called “33 parrots” due to the number of sharp turns along the slope. The pass leaves no one indifferent. At the end of the day, arrival at Son Kul Lake, which is located at an altitude of 3100 meters above sea level. There we will spend the night in a yurt camp under the starry sky.
